Friday night at 5:53 PST, Soundwave188’s Atlanta Thrashers emerged victorious over somepuert0rican’s Detroit Red Wings. This win put the Thrashers fifteen points ahead of second place Anaheim. “I’m not scared of playing anyone in this league,” says Soundwave, “I’m 110% confident I will win the championship.” With the top four teams all earning first round byes, and the season ending on February 5th, the Thrashers are in perfect position to make a run at the cup.

Soundwave attributes most of this success to his star defenceman, Chris Pronger. “The Pronger trade was huge,” he says, While I could have possibly gotten more for Ilya, I’ve been more than happy with Chris’ performance. He plays thirty minutes a night against the opposing teams top lines, and shuts them down.” In addition to the Pronger move, Soundwave’s personal favorite trade was the Exelby for Satan trade. “Satan has been clutch for me. Big goals, at big times, in big games.”

With the playoff picture starting to unfold, Soundwave could face a number of teams in the second round. “San Jose is my biggest threat. Ghetto’s puck possession game drives me crazy, and forces me to play on my heels.” One team Soundwave believes is flying under the radar is Colorado. “Mozzeye’s got a speedy bunch down there in Denver,” he says, “Stamkos, Richards, and Tucker always give me problems.” However, Soundwave’s biggest rival is Anaheim. “The games between us are always close, and their players, especially Lombardi, seem to come with their A game every time we play.”

Soundwave is clearly on of the top dogs in the league, playing with the Atlanta Thrashers no less. However, there are skeptics, who complain that he is only in first because of the number of games he has played. To his critics, Soundwave says “I got time to play, and I’ll play you all day, err’day.”
